I have waited almost 2 years to give an accurate long-term review. This is an amazing winder. The quality of the winding mechanism is on par with my swisskubik winder. the actual holder of the watch is arguably better than the holder used in swisskubik winders. If there are any issues, customer service is very quick and helpful 10/10

I am disabled and my Rolex was not getting wound because I did not move my arm enough. A friend told me about watch winders and after a lengthy search I homed in on a Benson. I am not disappointed, it is a quality product and, although it took a bit longer to arrive, I think that was likely to have been the postal service. The packing of the item was excellent, a padded cardboard box containing a beautiful purpose-made box with the watch winder in a velvet bag inside I tried to find a use for the box, it seemed a pity to throw it away. My watch is now wound daily and its timekeeping is what you would expect from a Rolex. Very satisfied.

Wow! Exceeded expectations all around. Absolutely beautiful, silky smooth to the touch. A very classy well made (and silent) 8 watch winder. After all my shopping research Benson seems to be up in the top on quality but way way way under the radar. Hodinkee, if you are listening, write an article on these! You will not find this top tier quality for this under the radar price with any other brand out there. I was at first a bit skeptical as the price seemed low compared to other brands. Nope, just more sensible pricing here. I love the extra storage in top for extra watches or watch bands. The lighting is perfect without too much blaring brightness and can be turned off easily. I first bought the same model for 6 watches but had to get the 8 watch model as the beauty of this thing just slung me into collecting all over again. Standing ovation for Watchwinders.com for an easy transaction and super speedy delivery. Had my winder in California, USA 5 days after I placed my order. I am so glad I stumbled on watchwinders.com, and Benson.

This company is fantastic! I ordered a Benson six unit watch winder. I changed my mind and wanted an eight unit watch winder. I emailed them just before they had shipped the first one. Leon was great! He changed the order immediately. I sent the balance via PayPal. The winder was shipped within two hours on a Tuesday. My watch winder arrived before 1 o’clock on Friday. So, in two and a half days, I received my order from the Netherlands to Pennsylvania in the USA.! I absolutely love the walnut eight unit watch winder. It is beautiful. I highly recommend Watchwinders.Com.

- Love the product selection and quality - Benson has fantastic offerings - Prices are very competitive, a lot of value for what you spend - Support was readily available and very responsive - Would buy again and recommend others, based on product quality and service - Website is OK: browse and search is reasonably good, account management is basic and order management is very basic (at least for international orders); as an user, I would like to self-serve for order status but needed to contact via email. Also, the email follow-ups make it unclear when items will ship. Great that email response was quick but would love to manage myself from the site like many other e-commerce sites - Note that my order failed with initial attempt with the transaction flagged by my credit card provider (Chase) as a potentially fraudulent transaction; this caused me concern that it might be a "scam" site. Would be worth to reviewing your payment processor for international sales to reduce the potential for this to occur with other customers

Excellent product ! Totally silent, fully programmable, nice esthetics. My parcel was delayed very much due to difficult weather conditions and the local post office in Greece but the aftersales people from Watchwinders.com tried their best to help me out. Although there was a delay in getting the watchwinder (understandable at this time given the situation worldwide with delays, shortages etc), the communcation and service from Watchwinders.com could not be faulted. Purchased a six watch Benson Smart-Tech II 6.20.B Watchwinder. It works well and is quiet. The front of pull out drawer (for storage) at the bottom came off immediately but I have reattached it. Watchwinders.com provided a good price and speedy delivery.

Thoroughly impressed with the quality of the watch winder! Very silent operation, runs smoothly at set intervals so it doesn't strain the motors unnecessarily. I Checked the accuracy of the watches every few days, and everything seems to be in order. 900 TPD seems to be the ideal speed for most of modern watches. The quality of the cabinetry and finish is top-notch. No rough edges whatsoever, the lacquer finish is perfect. One issue I noticed is the light button's touch sensitivity in my unit. It's not very responsive, I tried swiping the button, pressing it lightly, pressing it hard, it works every 5 or 6 presses but unreliable. Mostly likely a fault in my unit or in the capacitive/touch sensor. One thing I did find awkward, but doesn't qualify as a major issue, is the way watches are secured in the holder. There is a spring the compresses so that you can fit the watch over the velvet pad. The spring is very tough to compress and trying to fit the watch, secure the clasp, and keeping the unit compressed is a bit of a hassle. Also the spring's tension is very high, so it's somewhat likely that vintage bracelets could suffer stretching between the links seeing how much force the spring exerts against the watch case. Might be an issue, might not. Just an observation.

I ordered a Benson Black Series winder for 8 watches. The outer construction and design of the winder box is impeccable. The black lacquered finish is spectacular. However, the craftsmanship of the actual unit left me with a bitter taste. Upon unboxing the unit, I found that 3 out of the 8 motors had become unglued. In addition there was glue residue which is very visible against the black velvet interior of the winder. Removing/replacing the watches was simple. The cradle snaps into place with minimal effort and hold the watch in place firmly. However the removable cradles that hold the watch are very flimsy and made of cheap plastic. I don't know how long they will last. When I contacted WatchWinders.com about my issues, they suggested that I just glue the motors back! I think that they missed the point of customer service. I shouldn't have to do that at all, they should just have offered to replace the unit with a new one!!! The motors work silently and are individually programmable via a touch screen. The light feature is a nice touch. One feature which would be nice to have is an out off when you open the door. This way you can simply remove the watch you want to wear without having to worry about having to turn the motor off to remove the watch should it be rotating. In summary, the winder is well designed but the assembly is lacking. For a unit of this price, the motors should be screwed into place not glued. I hope that the motors are durable. It would also be of great comfort, if replacement motors were available from the manufacturer. This way, you could easily replace a faulty motor as opposed to having to buy a new watch winder. Also, it would be nice to have replaceable watch cradles. Finally, although I've had a mediocre experience, I will buy another one as they are a good value compared to other winders in the market. I hope that the new one will be better built than the one I just purchased. If they offer replacement parts, its a slam dunk. Otherwise you are just buying a winder that will eventually break and have to buy an entire new unit, instead of just replacing the damaged motors/cradles.

Thank you for your feedback. We received photos of the watch winder with one cup coming out of the board and glue residu as a result. We think it's the result of transport, but even then the cups may not come loose. We explained how the cup easily can be fixed (within 30 seconds) with a little bit of glue. Then the watch winder is perfect. When a customer is not happy with the product he/she may return within the return period.

I had just received the watchwinder on 4th May 17. The product was good and the packaging was excellent. However, the user guide/operating manual and certificate were missed out and they were not received together with the shipment. I believe the overall experience can be improved. Please send me the two documents ASAP. Thanks
